Autumn Term 2022
It was great to be back at school in the autumn term. It has been busy and challenging but the children have been fantastic throughout. |
RMS TitanicYear 2 children took a blast to the past in our exciting topic, The Titanic! The children learned all about life as a passenger on board the RMS Titanic through role play and researching facts. We then went to the SeaCity Museum where we explored artefacts, dressed up as characters and completed workshops. It was a fantastic day and the children had lots of fun while building their knowledge!

Little Red Riding Hood Our Year 2 journey started with a fairy tale topic of Little Red Riding Hood. The children had great fun watching the staff re-enact the story, before playing the characters themselves in the classroom. The children wrote some of their own fantastic alternative endings to the traditional tale! |

Geography The children have enjoyed learning all about the continents and oceans of our planet this term. They enjoyed sharing their own experiences of visiting or living in different countries and continents, and particularly liked learning all about ocean life! The children presented their favourite facts on a poster. |
