In compliance with Portsmouth City Council Policy, staff are not allowed to have access to their mobile phones within the setting. There is a mobile phone register for staff. Any mobile phone brought to the setting is stored in a secure place and returned to the owner at the end of the session. Children who bring mobile phones to the setting must give them to the Play Leader for safe keeping.
Fire Practice Not all children attend the breakfast club every day, therefore fire practices are scheduled on different days throughout the academic year. This enables all children the opportunity to take part and to become confident with the fire-drill routine. New children will be instructed in the fire procedures for the setting as part of their 'Induction' process. |
